ABOUT THE COURSE

The E³ Literacy course resulted from a collaboration between the World Class Teaching Program and national literacy experts. The course includes the following modules: Foundations of Reading, a four part module, by Dr. Timothy Rasinski, Engaging Reluctant Readers by Dr. Danny Brassell, Utilizing Writing as a Literacy Tool by the University of Mississippi’s Writing Project, and Tapping the Potential of Parents by Dr. Patricia A. Edwards. Each module includes a video, handouts, and an assignment. In order for CEUs to be awarded, there is an accompanying Completion of Assignments sheet that must be signed by the teacher’s building principal.
